Kia remembers her 7th grade math teacher Mr. Anderson. Mr. Anderson knew from the beginning that math wasn’t here strong suit but he saw something in her and took the time to tutor and teach Kia beyond school hours. By the middle of the school year, Kia was so confident in math that she changed her seat to the front of the class and always raised her hand first to give an answer. Mr. Anderson took the time out to invest in Kia, going above and beyond knowing he didn’t have to. He also instilled confidence within her, something she’ll never forget.
As Executive Assistant, Kia supports the President and CEO directly. Prior to joining the Foundation, Kia was an Executive Assistant to the SVP of Men’s at Saks 5th for 2 years.
Outside of work, Kia enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, shopping online and in-store and working out at the gym.
