Application Guidance

Below, you will find descriptions of each component of the Envision Equity grant application. To ensure that your proposal qualifies for review, make sure that you complete all required fields.

Lead Applicant

The lead applicant will serve as the NEA Foundation’s contact person for award notification, reporting, publicity, and other grant-related activities.

Applications missing lead applicant data will not be considered. The lead applicant must be a current member of the National Education Association (NEA).

Partner Information

Proposals may include a partner applicant, but partner information is not required.

When creating your proposal, please consider whether your project would be strengthened by partnering with a fellow educator.

Fiscal Agent

If you want to have a fiscal agent for your grant funds, enter the fiscal agent information in this section.

If you are not designating a fiscal agent, the information in this section should be that of the lead applicant. In this instance, grant funds will be made payable to the lead applicant and reported to the Internal Revenue Service. The grant funds may be considered taxable income, so the lead applicant may wish to consult with his or her tax advisor before submitting the application.
