Enough Is Enough

Enough Is Enough

For too long, too many have remained silent as others have suffered at the hands of an unjust society. The senseless murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and countless others have laid bare the inequities that black and brown communities face, and a justice system that repeatedly fails to protect and serve everyone.

Enough!

The NEA Foundation stands in solidarity with all who exercise their constitutional right to peaceful protest of all harm inflicted as a result of historic and persistent racism, bigotry, and violence, no matter how that violence is expressed. This moment in history demands that we do more to make justice our national priority in every domain. We owe our greater accountability to our children, ourselves, all communities and our country.
