How better to study the plant life cycle than to watch it happen? Many students at Western Heights Middle School in Oklahoma City, OK, live in the inner city, but they also have the opportunity to help maintain a small green space at their school.

Mrs. Echard’s special education students love being a part of school activities and the bigger picture. That’s why she requested greenhouses and seedling starters for her students to plant and watch grow among the others in their school’s courtyard.

Help her middle school students observe the plant life cycle in action by supporting Echard’s project on DonorsChoose.org. Only $165 to go!
