Melissa Survinski

Melissa Survinski plans to conduct self-directed research, observe special education classrooms, and take part in professional development to create appropriate programming in both enrichment and career exploration for students in her special education program. Her research and observations will focus mainly on 6th- 8th grade classrooms, given how pivotal those years are in adolescent development. Melissa’s professional development will take part throughout the whole of the 2022-23 school year, and she plans to volunteer to present what she has learned to her colleagues.
